Hi everyone, whoever still around and see this message.

First of all, thank you for those who send me birthday messages, as well as commenting/and favouriting my works. As most of you realized, I pretty much abandoning this account and focus uploading on my pixiv instead. Sorry for not replying any messages on here.

Despite deviantArt is the first art site I uploaded my artworks, I actually hated and want to quit this site for quite a long time.
The site is very badly organized and staff doesn’t work and try improving the site at all. The site has really bad interface which has zero customization, everyday showing me arts that doesn’t interest me at all. On top of this the tagging systems of this site is utterly horrible, not to mention the difficulty to raise exposure unless spamming artworks into hundreds of different groups…. It used to be a site where everyone can share their works and make friends with each other, yet the toxic community will put hate comment and report your works to the stupid site rules.. And of course to be the cherry on top, the site has this garbage system on forbidden artworks, which they shoot first and ask question after. To open the site after 5-6months, then all I find is a bunch of “Policy Violation” on drawings, some drawings are even 3 years ago, just makes me realize abandoning this site is the right decision.

Anyway enough with the rant…

So a lot of things happened lately, all of it being quite bad...

This year was a really stressful year for me. As you guys probably know I hated the university course I was doing, it wasn’t because the master degree is hard, in fact if it is the normal me it will be really easy to do. But the main trouble is that I was really stress by parents and life this year.

Start of my master degree parents has already been telling me to start finding jobs, once I didn’t do so well they start changing the pressure into “I cannot draw anime once I finished university, as I will need to find a proper job”. Some of you guys might remember me talking about it early this year, and suggested I could either draw alongside work or part time job along with patreon. I have seen a lot of friends who say they will write or draw alongside work, but none of them really works out. So I suggested part time job but my mum didn’t like the idea at all.

But I can’t just stay in UK forever as cost of living is high, which makes drawing with part time job is pretty much impossible. So ya, at the moment I am planning to go back to HK in end November, as things are slightly easier and food is better in HK. But this also means I will have to start thinking about my life direction. 2 weeks ago I have a huge fight with my mum on phone, as she thinks the whole time I have been drawing is a waste of time, rather than continue trying to be an artist I should just find a proper job and earn money. Despite Patreon is having progress every month, she don’t think this is working at all and think I should just give up. I don’t want that of course as I really enjoy making drawings and want to do some of the stories (new year animal stuff) that people have been asking for a year now… In the end the conversation went to a really bad end as I suggest I might as well kill myself as I am not doing what I want and causing them too much trouble… then my dad step in and say he will let me continue drawing for a year but after that I will have to start finding job if I don’t make enough money end of next year…

So ya... Going to draw one more year and see how things will go… probably have to start making new friends and ask for how to be successful as an artist, or end of year I will just stop drawing online and find proper jobs (or art related jobs.).

BTW, do not hate on my parents, as they are really nice people. They might not support me on drawing but that is only because they care about me. I am already too lucky to have them as my parents... Honestly I feel sorry for my parents, my dad especially... He work really hard to keep the family going, but then here is me being me... Often I think to myself, would life be easier for them if I am not me, or if I don't exist..

Anyway, thank you for those who still cares about me (despite me pretty much gave up on deviantArt), it means a lot seeing you guys still around.

So days ago I checked my results for the projects I have for last semester, sadly I didn’t get enough points to pass the module due to the fact most of my effort went into my anime drawing instead of coursework related drawings. Despite I hate the course and not liking what I am drawing in the course, after discussions over this weekend I decided that I will carry on the course (if possible) and will try finish this course. By doing this it means I will have less time to do my regular anime works as I will need to catch up with my university shits.

From now until June, most likely each month I will only draw 1-2 new drawings for the character poll, and the rest of the content pack will have past works instead. If you are not a fan of my older works (April-September 2016), then now will be the time to unsubscribe to my patreon.

In terms of what’s going to happen after my course (June) I do not know yet. I would like to carry on my patreon acocunt but at the same time I am not earning enought to convince my parents to let me continue. I tried different ways to bring more people's interest but most of the time people seem to think my art isn't worth  the money. Currently I am planning of getting a part time job after my university course so I can still do drawings and patreon stuff for 1 more year, but I am not sure if my parents will allow that.

Originally I do plan to do this year's rooster theme picture pack, and also the long planned zombie pack, as well as some drawings from Saki's and Yuri's story, but I guess all these will have to put on hold. Anyway, if you decided to leave or stay I still thank you very much for your support!

It seems like some people thinking this poll is currently patrons only. So I will say it here, This poll is Free for everyone to vote!

So yesterday my patreon has reached the first milestone I set, and as agreed I have now started a R18 fanart poll. This poll has 12 characters to pick from each month. The characters are selected by me as I have interest of drawing them, and you guys can vote for which characters on the list you want to see.



You can vote for 3 characters from the list by commenting on the link above, and each character will gain 1 point. By the end of this month I will gather the points and see who the winners are. Depending how busy I will be, usually there will be 2 winners per month. (more slots will be available when the next milestone is reached.)

• If the characters on the list didn’t get too many votes she might get remove in future poll, but if she has quite a bit of votes she will have another chance on the next month’s voting.
  
• If monthly pledge drops below $150 (first milestone) then this whole thing will be drop until it is above again.
  
• All tier patrons’ votes will get 5 times more points on each vote.
  
• As a patron you can also suggest characters on the post, and if the character interest me enough, I might put them on the upcoming list or even draw her myself 0w0/
• I have also launch a $1 option for those who only want to see the patreon post and polls.

Lastly, a small change to Tier 3 rewards, instead of highly compressed psd file, upcoming psd files will be mostly uncompressed. There are still some layers I will have to collapse due to it not compatible with psd format (from sai file). This way tier 3 patrons will have more freedom in the psd files, and can also see my workflows on the drawings.

Hi everyone. Some of you might noticed that I have deleted the post few days ago regarding the way I am running this patreon, reason being that after discussing with a few of my patrons I have decided to approach this differently again. So here are the changes.

• I realized that the pricing on the current Tiers are too overpriced, especially when the high-res versions are in jpg, so from now on the png file will be available. The current Tier 1 will be reduced to 5usd instead, continue with jpg files. Tier 2 will be at 10usd, with png file this time around.

•  Some drawings have exclusive nude versions, but these versions were never intended to be nude in the original plan. These will now move to 10USD Tier (2).

• I decided to cut access to the backlogs, and changing the way of how you will receive the rewards. Over past few months I have at least 3-5 people who pledge for 1 day then left, exploiting the system and download the content freely. I felt this is really unfair not only to me, but also to the ones who chose to support me. So I decided instead of allowing the download on a post, I will be sending direct message to you after I receive your payment first week of each month.

• After taking considerations, I have decided to upload psd files as part of the reward, in Tier 3. Due to the lack of confidence in my own works, the psd file will have quite a lot of collapsed layers, so don’t expect too much things such as seeing the way I work etc. this is just a option to allow you playing around with the layers etc.

• From now on I will also be uploading working in progress sketches onto my patreon for patrons above Tier 1, and this way you guys can discuss or suggest stuff you want to see on drawings. (Although do not expect I will listen to all suggestions XD)

• I have made a milestone of $150, and once this is reached, I will start putting up a character poll for you guys to vote monthly. This character poll will be characters chosen by me, or any suggestion from you guys that interest me. The poll will also have a section to allow you guys to pick the theme of the drawing.

• upcoming months I might get more busy and less time to draw, so it might result on lack of content. To compensate for that I will probably upload some previous works in png formats so you guys won't feel getting ripped off.
